I need more practice in digital drawing, so I decieded to do another one challenge. I`m going to draw sketchy digital portraits of all characters of my "Made of flesh/Made of iron" story.
I`ll introduce them to you in order of appearence.
Actually, I`ve drawn all characters from my book, but I decided to add two more persons as a bonus. It`s about Ray`s parents. They lived about 35-32 years before the main storyline, and appeared only in the story Herman told to his fellows.
Today`s girl is Ray`s mother, Tyolla (she had no surname, because it was prohibited for underground villages residents). As Danyl, she was the one from royal bloodline. Soon after Ray`s birth Tyolla with her son had to escape from the capital - to save the boy from rattanians. She changed her name to Mara and settled down in some underground village. But 10 years after Minehelle`s people found and killed her. Ray was saved by Mark Kowalski (Herman`s father). To hide the boy Mark gave him the new surname that was not listed anywhere. Ray`s mother was Arimeshian, and lived in the city named Oykhen, not so far from the same name mountain. In arimeshian language "the one from the Oykhen mountain" is "ween Oykhen verkhe". Kowalski changed it a little and got "van Oggenberg". So, here is the origin of Ray`s surname.
Tyolla is the last character for this challenge, hope, you enjoyed all these guys and girls. (but I plan to add new ones next year - when I finish the second book of my trilogy.
