After the Serpent bridge battle Ray was offically declared dead. But actually he was badly injured. Vita found him and saved his life, but Ray didn`t want to live. Ray was depressed not only because of his lost eye. The woman he loved, his teacher, his friends - all were slain...
At this moment of story Ray and Vita both were 24 years old.
