Like so many other artists I can't get my head around how you all sketch so cleanly? The painting's great, but I would put the sketch alone up on my wall. The concept, the composition, the detailing... I love the whole thing. Great, great job.

your coloration style is great, very dark and shaky, but it's a pitty so many nice details get lost in it
the pencil version is as interesting as the colored one

Throughout all of your pieces I've seen, I always love one aspect ( for your human-like creatures ), the faces. I love how the facial features of your characters are so defined and have that ghostly, tall look; it's very original. The strange, unrestricted and flowing style of your mechanically infused, skeleton-like bodies are always a sight to see.

some notes and side-comments on your comments:
i usually load up the lineart w details, this one in particular is cheap blue Bic rollerball pen on photocopier paper since it was meant to be PS-painted
however, i usually work from a dark midtone to light, then stark shadows and highlights are left out for the final steps(those of you who ever worked w acrylics will know what i mean)
i try to keep the lighting scheme as spontaneous as possible, it's more fun and dynamic,unless some clien requests for specific results.i don't mind the loss ofdetail,since i prefer compensating the digital-ish ps strokes w heavy textural effects

The line art is amazing, It almost looks like a 3d image un rendered. I think I prefer the line art to the coloured one as I imagined a different colour pattern to the reds and browns you used. But I am favouriting this anyway. Nice dark feel to it.

you've lost definition while paiting it. i would like to see it clearly painted as i can see it in the scketch. but that's an autor's choice

A very nice piece...But i have to say those wonderful details on the lineart are lost on the colored version...I prefer the lineart...Nice conteptual design....Love the ribs and the knee caps...
I wish you use another type of watermark or label to protect your work...Those light "CrankBot" patterns confuse the eye too much...Anyway i personally think it curtains your work and distracts the view...
