Description
A quick piece for Photoshop class. I really wanted to fully render it but we only spent 2 classes on our own pieces and i like the simple feel of this anyhow. maybe ill clean up the lines in the future.6 hrs?

I like this a lot. the colours, the way it's drawn, it has a very strong feeling to it. Kind of drawing you can look at for some time, always finding something new about it. Excellent work

The coloring looks so cool. It's like it's messy but yet it's correct. I dunno how to describe it. You have an awesome coloring style going on.
I like how you didn't stay in the lines for the rose. It's very pretty that way.

with a tablet in photoshop. just use basic brush, set flow to like 30% and go crazy

ah OK I understand but can you explain what the eyedrop tool is?? and what to sample?? I dont understand very well, sorry

hmm, if ure using photoshop, the eyedrop tool can be accessed by holding down alt key when ure using the brush tool. [link] it's used to get a quick sample of color. for instance, let's say u have a light beige and a dark beige in ur two color choices in the tool bar (the 2 overlapping squares). say u paint light beige and dark beige together on a face, sometihng liek this [link] but u need it to look smooth, instead of light jumping to dark (the lines are too sharp). what u do is u use a brush with low flow and paint in between light and dark. u'll see the colors start to blend, like on the chest here [link] but it's still not blended well enough, so u need to use the eyedropper tool and click on the MIDDLE between light and dark, keep on painting with brush, hold alt and click the middle again, release alt and paint, and repeat this until u get a smooth gradient. it's hard to explain unless someone shows u in person. i tried, hope u get it a bit
