Description Meet Gunther!

He's my 11 week old male ambilobe panther chameleon.
I'll post pics of him as he grows up and gets his adult coloration (which is STUNNING!) but I took this shot this morning and it was too cute to not submit.

Awwwww, look at that face! They're so cute when they're little. He looks like he has a lot of potential!

Where did you order him from? Take extra special care of him. The blues he's developing are already showing their intensity.

Thanks! I adore him, he's already eating out of my fingers.

He's from chameleonsonly.com, a breeder in so. cal. I plan on taking the best care I possibly can of him. I'm nervous though, he's my first chameleon and my second reptile. My first reptile is a female cornsnake (still have her, 12 years old).

Oh yeah, I forgot to ask something. Who are the parents for Gunther?

His daddy is Autumn Rain. His maternal grandfather is Little banana. And I hope I can raise him well! And I so hope he ends up looking like his daddy, his daddy is amazing!

I was hoping you'd say that, very nice choice!!! I love how his white stripe is tinted blue when he fires up. He's going to be a real jaw dropper from the looks of the hold-back males. Again, the best of luck to you.

I want to get one now, but I don't have near enough money to drop on a single lizard and setup.

lol, he was worth every penny though! Have you thought of getting a veiled chameleon? They're just as cool looking and a lot less expensive.

btw, more pics of him are up on MFK, reptile section, including pics of him eating!

... Still don't have enough money for one of those with a complete setup. Someday.... Veileds do look cool. I like the way carpets look too.

I'm looking at those right now!

That's a very, very good sign!

Those guys have some very nice panthers. I actually got the pattern for my sculpture from one of their blue bars Ambilobes. Screameleons has some very nice bloodlines too. If you can raise this guy with no issues then there's no doubt that you're a talented reptile keeper.
