Okay, time to write Matt's alternate characterization!But before I actually get around to that, I have something related to my alternate characterization that I want to talk about and explore first.
Do you know that Matt is the most likely person out of the crew to either turn against them and end up being the villain of the day? It looks like Tord has some competition over the position for "most lethal and dangerous"! Matt is easily a textbook example of a "Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass". Although, there aren't many that know the bad-ass side of him...
We've seen Matt turning against the crew in the Zombeh Attack series and "Matt Sucks", but he was the most dangerous in a very old Halloween short released back in 2005. There, he killed Edd, Tom, and Tord out of an act of revenge.
But revenge for what, and why?
In-universe, Matt was and is always the butt of the jokes made at his expense.
Maybe he felt that he had enough of being the butt, but perhaps it goes deeper than that...
Keep in mind that I'm talking about the character, and not the person
