Description
This is an exercise from a book called Watercolor Basics - Let's get started. I like the moody composition the author came up with here.The goal is to practice flat and gradient washes. I painted two absolutely perfect flat washes in warming up to do this and of course the one on the painting is not perfect. Grr.
However it is better than my first attempt - not posted.
