something i really like to do to break artblock is redraw screencaps from my favorite childhood animes. by this point, i think everyone on the internet experienced the sailor moon redraw challenge - one of my favorite phenomena to sweep the art community. i've been seeing various inuyasha ones circulating, too, so i decided to join and redraw sesshomaru

took a lil artistic liberty with the background of this particular screencap and ultimately ended up circling back to my favorite color palette of blues and pinks but i think it turned out ok

bc of some of the stuff going on in my life rn, i've been finding it hard to get into animes/fandoms the way that i so passionately used to. so i might revert back to some classics and do some more redraws. idk if it's bc i've spent crucial seasons of my life in large fandoms, but i find it hard to be motivated to make art when i'm not particularly enthralled with a series. that's probably normal for lots of people tho
