Been working on this for almost a week. I put all my effort into it; hopefully it shows. Viewing full size is best.So it's been a while since I last created lion characters based on my friends. So I decided to try it again, this time for my two roommates, since we're all going our separate ways at the end of this month. On the left is Sky, on the right is Victor (who had a previous lion design, but it was outdated so I redid it), and in the middle is my fursona Guinness.

When I look at this picture it makes me think of a new lion king movie like they would be perfect for the movie. They all look like strong lions and ready to rule the prides land and such. Haha wow my comment is getting long. I really am going to watch you now. Thorough da of course. Lol. Well what I like the most about it the three tones of Colour in the background. Instant favorite in my book.

I love this picture so much, I've been staring at it for a while trying to comment, but failing hahaa. I really really love the way you drew the character, first off. All three of them have such life and I adore your lineart, coloring, poses, expressions, and everything! The background is really amazing too, I love the split tones in the background and how the characters mix in with each other's background boundaries and such... It's very, very beautiful and I adore the soft, but powerful nature of it. Amazing work! Your time and effort really shows

lol Have I mentioned I love it when you leave long comments? <3 Thank you. The three tones overlaid in the background are actually of specific significance, so I'm pleased that you noticed them. Each one is a color that one of us (my roommates and I) wear the most. Sky's is white, mine is purple, and Victor's is black. So it's a subtle nod to the real people that the characters represent.
