This picture was taken the last week of July, on Lake Vermillion in N. Minnesota. The island that the sun is setting over is called 'treasure island', for reason's unknown. I was standing in lots of mud to get this shot. Comment up.Related content

I certainly know why they call it that! Because you get to see a treasure like this! Hehe. I think standing in all of that mud was really worth it! This picture is gorgeous and the colours from that setting are so gorgeous, as they usually are. I really love how that grass is in front of you like that. It sort of seem like they're protecting you from something I don't know. The protective grass.

I say to you now, and know this, that this is indeed a wonderful picture yet before I would have begun.... I would have hacked some of those weeds down.... It would have made the picture balence.

Ohh, very lovely! Nice composition. It's nice that the whole picture is in focus. A lot of times picture are focused on either the background or foreground...sometimes that's what you have to do. But I like it like this.

That's a beautiful picture, if I do say so myself. If I look at it for long enough, I feel like I could glide across the water and fly out into the sunset.
