"Nope! Out of chances, sorry!"
Qu-ii jumps back with graceful mid-air somersault. Before vanishing in the bushes, he turns back to you and says:
"Though if you really would like to know the answer - look into a lake. Or puddle."
He swiftly disappears, leaving behind the flower.

...aaaaAh, I'm terribly sorry I ruined it...That's what happens when one writes a reply at 1:00AM, my brain mixed two answers into one, it seems X_x...

If you want, sure, why not. Though it seems a little bit pointless since I wrote the right answer already... ^^'

In quite wide approximation - the version of you that was talking to Qu-ii was not real. To be more, much more exact - Qu-ii simply made an image of you and engaged conversation with it - the image is you, but from different alternative universe. It was not aware of the fact it belonged to alternative universe, thinking it is the real one. When your image and Qu-ii were done, the latter merged the outcome events into current timeline, which resulted in you from current universe (the real you) remembering this conversation like you were the one who was taking part in it.

Well, Qu-ii merged the events. Whether will you remember what happened for longer time depends solely on you

"Congratulations! Here's your price!"
He bows slightly and hands you the flower. Before you manage look back at him, you hear:
"See you around!"
And he's already gone.

Shortly after you notice that the picture frame is empty.

From quantum physics point of view, each decision and action in our universe, theoretically, creates two alternative universes - one where something happened and another where it did not happen. For example, when you want to enter a shop, you create version where you did enter and a version where you changed your mind and did not enter.
Qu-ii is capable of "rendering" both options in the same universe, for limited time. Upon picking up the flower, he decided to not pick it up and picked the alternative version instead - a rendered image of what would happen if he picked the flower up. He kept this state up as long as he had energy to do so. When he ran out of it, the rendered image has collapsed and disappeared.

Nnot really - casting an image of an object is not an instantaneous effect and is most often visible in form of a glitching effect of both the versions (the image and the real one). On top of that, Qu-ii prefers fair play, so he'll first cast the object, then ask the question.
