Well, whaddaya know: I'm actually almost done with my Persona side project! Just one more to go (and I already have a start on it! Hoo-to the-ray!)

Anyhow, I originally planned on not designing a Persona of my own, due mostly to the fact that others' perceptions of me are better references than my own self-image (I can only bring one viewpoint to the table, after all). However, the more Personas I drew for my pals, the more inquisitive they became towards what my own Persona would look like.

So, I finally caved and did some research into the matter. Joe suggested a Knight of the Round Table from the King Arthur mythos and, after some extensive investigation, we concluded that the one best suited for me just so happened to be one of the more famous knights: Sir Lancelot.

I'm sure many of us are familiar with Lancelot's undying chivalry and bravery in the face of adversity, so I was flattered when Joe suggested it to me. However, the aspect of Lancelot that sealed the deal for me was his love affair with Queen Guinevere, Arthur's own wife. Lancelot regretted the harm he had caused his great friend for his weakness. I've had my own demons to face with some very spotty intimate decisions I've made in my past (though, I assure you, they're nowhere NEAR as severe as Lancelot). I can relate.

Oh! Aaaand...he wields his sword like a guitar ! How about them apples?

By far the most heartwarming part about designing Lancelot was choosing his accompanying arcana. Many of my friends insisted on the Star Arcana. Once more, I call upon the knowledge from the depths of the Shin Megami Tensei Wiki (!):
"The Star Arcana is also commonly associated hope, self-confidence, faith, altruism, luck, generosity, peace and joy."

D'aaaawwww. Thanks guys. You're the greatest!
