This was the other pic I was referring to that I tore out of my sketchbook. I copied this from a screenshot as well. Go figure, seeing as most everyone recognizes this picture... Goku, in my opinion, came out OK, but Gohan was of some trouble for me. I don't draw Gohan (or any of the other DBZ characters as well) as often as I draw his father. This makes itself pretty obvious by the huge erase marks around Gohan's clothes and face (unlike most artists, I dig into the paper with my pencil, I erase very hard and very often, and I hardly ever “sketch lightly”). I’m serious about the erasing part, too… many times I have wrecked a drawing I was working on because I erased too hard and often around specific “difficulty areas” (i.e., the mouth, nose, eyes, other facial proportions, etc.), and the eraser went through the paper. It’s getting better now; I haven’t done that in a few months, so there may be hope yet… The background here is OK, but it’s rather bland-looking to me now. I should have done that part freehand to make it more interesting.
