Categories suck... I had one that seemed right, but was "closed for submissions" why?Basically I took a sharpie to my DSi and came up with this. This is the player pin from The World Ends With You, an amazing game for the DS.
I'm not sure yet if I'm going to pimp out the inside of it as well... Any thoughts/ criticisms?

What paint did you use? I can't find anything online so far about model paint on a DSi.

Umm... Well, after a lot of trial and error involving sharpies of various types, I wound up using some black paint I had lying around. I actually screwed it up because I wasn't patient, and then I messed up with the spray sealer stuff and now the back camera doesn't work. *laughs* I'm not the best person to ask about how to make this on your own.
At the time this photo was taken, I used a permanent marker. I would not recommend doing this as it smears when stored in your pocket.

I tried model paint with Krytex glaze over it on some controllers, looks really cool but I noticed my screwdriver easily put a scratch on it during reasembly. I guess spraypaint is the only way to go, I need to save up some money now.

Haha reassembly... You're a whole lot braver than I was. Or maybe just smarter. I didn't take my DSI apart. The camera on the outside is all blurry now, which might be an effect of that.

You should've just covered up the camera with tape or something.

I think this is epic and it turned out great
you should totally do something on the inside, maybe the time stamp they get on their hands for the missions or the world ends with you logo

*nods* I'm totally thinking about pimping this out some more. I kinda wanted to see just what the player pin looked like first, but I'm definitly thinking about adding some more to this <3 Thanks a ton~

XDD Nooo I didn't freehand it. I used a grid resizing thing, where I draw a grid of one size on the refrence picture, then I draw another grid on the DS, then sketched out where it was supposed to be, then colored it in with marker
