Sebastian usually comes and rides my school bus the last week of October. We get some funny looks when I carry him over my shoulder through the parking lot at Base...

Scaring the bejeebers out of people is something of a hobby of mine. =]

Dear Sebastian started life as straw-filled garbage bags duct-taped to landscaping rebar, the duct tape being used to shape him. (That's the important part; the base figure. You have to get the shape right there, before any clothing or decoration goes on! You also need to remember to make it weather-proof.) I taped gummy eyeballs still in their plastic sleeves behind the eye-holes of the mask, so he looks REAL. (Replace the eyeballs at least every other!) Most people think there's really somebody in the mask, and can't quit staring at him.

It's really rather amazing that I have any ridership on my bus whatsoever in October...
