Halloween 2000 is when we started inviting vict--er, people over for an annual Scary Dinner on Halloween. ::very wide, evil-looking smirk:: This was a Red Velvet cake done in a circle mold; hair and skin frosting over a shaped Fondant nose, with tic-tac teeth, gumball eyes, and fondant carrots, radishes & lettuce leaves. Mumsie forbade me to make use of anything like raspberry syrup, or even red fruit filling--she said we were going to have to actually EAT this thing, after all! (And boy, did he taste good!!) For a first try, I thought he turned out rather well. >=]

As of 2010, invitees to this event have to literally close their eyes to eat most of the offerings. ::evil laughter!::
