Here is the 2nd prize from my contest for He asked me to draw Eowyn from The Lord of the Rings in her shieldmaiden outfit ^^

I didn't know what to do for a pose at first because I wanted to show her sleeves draping over her arms. I thought to look up sword pose ideas and chose to have her hands resting on top of the sword handle. You can't really see the the sword that much though lol. I changed how I draw the eyelashes for girls a little bit. The sleeves and hair were somewhat of a challenge to draw. I've never drawn long wavy hair like this before. I do like how wavy her hair looks. I also gave her some lipstick because it looks like she wore it in the movies and I've been wanting to try adding makeup to a character. I didn't know how to color the lipstick at first and looked up how to color them and chose this method where you only color the bottom lip. I'm not sure if I like how the sleeves came out, mainly by her shoulders, because I'm still not good at drawing folds. I also simplified some of the details on her outfit and on the sword because it would have been hard to see all the small details. For the background I tried making it look like a window you would see in fantasy worlds and faded the corners out since this was a simple background ^^
