the concept was borrowed from DMC 4. the dude has a sword that has a special hilt. either twisting it or pressing the lever or both activates certain powers and attributes in the sword.
thought it was pretty cool so there ya go.

Hm, I must experiment more in Photoshop. How do you do that "glow" look

copy the layer you want to glow
set that layer to screen
filters>guassian blur (pick the ammount of blurriness u want)
copy the layer a couple of time then merge them all together except for the base layer.

unfortunately, the little japanese that i know is almost entirely learnt from bad old samurai movies...so lots of 'teme!' and 'misete mura-o ka...'...very little useful stuff...that said, my trip to japan gave me some basic phrases like '(place) doko desu ka?' or '(object) ikura desu ka?' 'daijobu desu ka?' etc...but aside from absolute basics, i know very little...thanks for the watch, btw....
