Pretty good for a second try. Just try to spend more time on your planets, especially if they're the main part of the scene... people can sometimes spend weeks painting one planet! I sometimes make the mistake of submitting a piece in a rush, which is never a good thing. For some really really good artwork, and very informative guides, check out `alyn's account. From there you'll find alot of other routes to more information and artists relative to space art. Again, good work, and remember, practice is key!

Well, check out lots of space artwork, get some inspiration. And a good thing to do is read as many tutorials as you can, but try not to just copy and paste them. Draw the techniques from there and build upon them with your own. Just do a search on dA for "Planet Tutorials", you'll get alot of results.
