You climbed into the bushes settled in the middle of the Going Merry, your recently proclaimed "private hideout," munching on an orange you picked on your way to the center. You had grown tired of sitting at the top of the mainmast, deciding to change your position out of sheer boredom. No one else seemed to ever hide in the oranges, so you figured it was the best place to stay on the ship, seeing as your crewmates still pretty much hated your guts.

The sky was pitch-black outside, the full moon and stars cutting through the darkness like silver knives.

Redhead must be slower than I gave her credit for. She still hasn't noticed I stole from her hoard?

You leaned back, resting your head down on the stiff soil, hair scratching at your scalp and reminding you of your bandana's unfortunate absence.

Damn...and I thought I was getting a little entertainment for once.

That was the moment you heard a piercing shriek in your ears, one that was absolutely, unmistakably redhead's.

You jumped skyward, shooting up from the orange bushes and clinging to the yardarm frantically. You swung upside down on it before flipping off and free-falling across the ship, landing right on the front goat's-well, actually, on Luffy's-head.

"Hey, [Name]! That hurt!"

"Don't care, gotta run, see ya!"

You were currently clinging to the outside of the boat, adrenaline and excitement curling your fingers around the wooden boards of the hull.

Redhead was at the wheel, twisting and turning the boat, trying to shake you off, and the rest of the crew were hanging over the side of the ship, screaming at you to get your sorry ass up on board before you fell into the treacherous waters below.

Needless to say, your little prank had not in the least improved your popularity on the Going Merry.

But to be honest, who the hell cares? This was fun!
