Well, he existed XDDD Rome was hella important and there were interactions between him and Germania, so it would be pratically impossible not to create him as well. Not to mention he's Germany's/Prussia's grandfather, and other ancient characters also exist, like ancient Egypt and a bunch of other minor, ancient characters (which you can check out here if you want to: hetalia.kitawiki.net/index.php… ). Hetalia is all about history, just because the anime initially focused on WW1 and WW2 doesn't mean the Allies and Axis are the only countries that deserve attention XDD thank you though!

I know he existed lol, my ancestors are practically germanics, but it's just the thing that we barely know anything about those tribes and I don't know why hima made him a character. Ancient Egypt, Greece, Rome, Persia, etc were huge and had a lot of recordings of themselves, Germanicans didn't do that lol, there's very little we know about them, and I find it a little odd to see hima made him a character. Aaah I know the others are characters as well, and I know he is too, it's really cool on one hand but on the other I think "how can he make a personification of something we barely know about?". But Generally when it comes to Germany and German history there's so much odd stuff in hetalia =w=
