Actually Code Geass made me change the cockpit of one of my characters' mechs. I saw one of the episodes and notice the cockpit has her laying forward and just thought it looked interesting so went with it instead of a traditional one.
No idea why I am sharing that.

She looks nicer with the skin in my opinion. But I drew her without it so I could get the image of how she looks without it down on paper.
