I've checked out the finished version but I think I like this one better for some reason. It might have to do with the blank scene though, since black scenes are open-ended. I'm in love with the emotion in this piece too, it's so open-ended again. I really like the shading and colouring you used, it gives me a soft pastel-ish feeling. :3
