"Brother, look at that!" The brunette quickly hissed to his younger twin, pointing up at the sinking figure.
"Is that a human?" The short haired siren squinted his eyes, both of them watching as they flailed around desperately "Can they not swim? What a fool. C'mon Bryston, lets go."
The brothers have always lived by their fathers rule. Never approach a human unless you're with the pack. It was the one rule that they refused to break. Even Emmett, the more rebellious of the two, obeyed.

As Emmett turned away, Bryston continued to watch with wide, brown eyes. He watched as they reached out towards the bright light above, bubbles of oxygen spilling out from their mouth.

".. If there's a human, that means there must be more nearby" The eldest brother stated, eyes not turning away from the sinking landweller "Go get Pete, tell him to get ready for a hunt." But before he could begin to move, Emmett grabbed his arm.

"Bry, you know the rule. You can't go near humans without the pack." He warned.

Turning to face his brother, he grinned wide "C'mon Em, I can handle one human." and with that, the grip was loosened. The golden tailed siren began making his way towards the human, eyeing him carefully as if they were to pull out a weapon at any second. Soon enough, the mortals movements slowed, trying desperately to reach out for the surface. To other sirens, they looked like easy prey, not even needing to enchant them with their song. But Bryston could only see them as a fish out of water.

The thought made the siren speed up, swimming quicker towards the human. Humans belong to the surface, we stay here below, where it's safer. Another one of Pikefang's rules came to mind and it only seemed to fuel him.

If human's belonged to the surface, then he should surely bring this human back to where it belonged.

Soon, the human was nearly in reach, but they had soon given up any chances. Their arms were no longer mindlessly swinging, their blue eyes widening as they finally spotted him getting closer. They somewhat attempted to shield themselves, but it had been useless. Bryston wrapped his arms around the humans torso and rapidly thrashed his tail to move him upwards. The human tried hard to resist, but soon went limp in his arms, making the siren's heart stop for a mere moment. He had to get him to the surface.
He had to get the human where they belonged.
