Lord almighty that was a struggle but now after a year and a half of trying I am no longer a L Driver but and now a R Driver.

L Driver means learner Driver Which means that I have to have someone in the car with me at all times and i can't go over 45 mph.
I have two tests both with 2 sections making 4 test topics all of which i must pass to get moved on to R.
R driver means restricted Driver which means that I can drive without some one in the car but i can't go over 45 mph still. also any penalty points i may get from speeding will be doubled.
I have to be a restricted driver for a year before I can have the restrictions removed.
I was very lucky because only 7% of people who do the test pass and can then drive.
