so i have a story with this.
not too long ago i had gone to disney with a few friends and we had went to the haunted mansion. well when i first herd of constance a year or so before -to put things short i didnt like constance ,good story and stuff but whatever. i became nostalgic thinking about the old bride and how i loved her and yet feard her when i was a child.SO i wanted to see what changes sides the bride they made to the manor.my friend had never been on the ride so she was pretty shitfaced while going in. to my suprize everything seemed different. it all seemed...smaller? like it didnt feel like a mansion like it used to.well i did like the leota floating and such im not saying they messed the mansion up. so we get to constance and i must say i was suprized! i actually between jumping from my friends screams and getting the circulation cut ff from my arm , began to like constance. she was actually freaky. we got the "and we lived happily ever after.."line . the whole time i was watching from any inspiration from the ride for this peace. i noticed they put ALOT more cobweb so i put it in the pic ^^

Well, to be truthful, there was only 3 real brides in Mansion/Manor history. All others were mistresses, it seems. Lillian was rumored to be the first bride of future Ghost Host George Junior Gracey (Edward in the movie), but she was actually a mistress, since it seems that most brides end up in the attic and Lillian never actually took the Gracey surname. Constance, the newest axe-brandishing bride, is actually a haunting return to the past, since stories have circulated in saying that George Senior Gracey--the original owner--lost his head when his wife did him in, which leads one to assume that he was The Hatbox Ghost of years past and Constance was his bride-to-be. This is turn leads to George Junior taking the Mansion from his father and dealing with shady persons, namely highly jealous soothsayer Madame Leota--whom Master Gracey fathered an illegit daugther with, that being Little Leota--before falling for rich merchant daughter, Emily (Elizabeth in the movie). Incensed by other suitor, the Madame probably sought Constance's help in doing away with this intruder, since there's that ol' meddling mother-in-law cliche that seems to fit the profile Constance exhibits. Anyway, it is said that either Emily was locked in the attic trunk by Leota during an impromptou game of hide-and-seek between bride and groom, that Emily was pushed out the attic window to her death by Gracey himself in a crazed state of madness, or that the bride-to-be was done in by poison (if we go by the movie), or in my own interpretation, all three ideas are used, with the game of hide-and-seek still in play, but throwing the poison in by having Leota drug Emily with the poison during the game, entice Emily into the trunk, then chucking the whole mess out of the attic window to be rid of any competition. And now, Emily is in hiding from meddlesome mother-in-law Constance, who now handles the attic once her distraught son hangs himself in the foyer room with the changing portraits. The third bride--Melanie Ravenswood--has a more concrete story, a groom-to-be with a different name, an isanely posessive father (aka The Phantom), and resides in Phantom Manor, the Paris equivalent to The Haunted Mansion.

Omg! that happened to me too!!!! last time i went was when i was like 6 years old. and a little while ago, i went to disneyland for the 8th grade feild trip. and when i went on the haunted mansion ride, every thing was different and smaller. weird!

Where is Lillian Gracey? How could you forget Master Gracey's very first wife? If you don't know who she is, she is the girl in the stretching room whom was eaten by a crocodile by madame Leota.

Lillian was a mistress, not his first wife. If she was, she would've been in the attic also, but she was done in by alligators.

not necessarily, emily died in the attic, lillian didn't. Which would make it possible for Lillian to still be his first wife, without her having to haunt the attic too.

maybe your talking about the versions??? cuz i put them all in as from what i can see. the only one i didn't put in was tokyo but that's cuz she is the same as here in us candle and beating heart. and the others are just past versions of the bleeding heart bride here in u.s
oh and the one from the movie but again she is the same as bleeding heart and im sticking with rides
