how has everyone been? it's been over a month since i last posted. heh, sorry about that. but as anyone who has probably been watching my account for a while knows, my modus operandi is to post something on dA, then fart around for a day or two, and then just totally abandon the site until i've finished a new piece, in which i come back with a bang and fart around again for a while. and then leave. and the cycle continues.

anyways, this piece is part of a big project i've been working on--called PEACH MAGAZINE !!!!!! PEACH magazine is something i've been working on as an art-project sort of thing. it combines many of my loves, such as art, music, andy warhol, being really sarcastic, and cooking, all into one. i've been working on it for a really long time (actually since december, which is why probably for the past few months i haven't been posting all that much anymore...lol), and i'd really like it if you guys could check it out and maybe buy a copy and support me. i've put a lot of effort into this, and it's been a labor of love and i'd really like to see my efforts pay off ^^"" but also, it's just a really cute magazine in general!! i made it in response to the fact that i feel like, personally, i don't see a lot of fun art magazines these days--lots of contemporary things, sure, but nothing that seems to fit just my taste, so i made this. hopefully it will become popular enough that MOMA will sell it at their gift store and it'll kick i-D's butt (right?? right?? because you guys are going to help me promote this, RIGHT?!?!?!!?!??!!?!!!) so this was a huge undertaking as an art project, and it's definitely on a way more major scale then i usually do, but i think it's really cool that you can actually buy one and have a hard copy delivered to your own door, in your own hands!! it's like you have a piece of my soul in your own home (i really mean that in the non-creepy way, okay)

but i really hope you guys can help support me with PEACH. i've seen a lot of amazing things happen because of deviantart (i went to brookstone and saw those cat headphones and just thought yuumei !!) and i really hope you guys can help me sell a few copies of PEACH!!! it's just such a cute magazine and i just am so proud of it!!! >u< <33333

since you people here on dA have ALREADY supported me for a long time, though, by watching me and favoriting my art and commenting, i've decided that any of my watchers who buy a copy of PEACH magazine get a free drawing!! just note me telling me that you've bought a copy, and tell me what you want me to draw, and i'll draw it and note it to you!!

anyways, that's enough rambling on my part about PEACH...even if you can't get a copy, i just really hope you guys love this piece aah!!!! ^__^
