this (i almost called it a song) photograph was really hard to put a name to. I knew what I liked about it and I knew what it felt and looked like to me but i couldn't think of a fitting name for so long even with Daca's help. although, I have to give all credit of the naming this photo to her, this was one of her suggestions which I thought fit the best.the photo to me looks like a solid, high, safe place, a good place to take a break, a cradle in the sky. the warm ground pushing back the cold heavy sky and the world around it. but it's open to other interpretation so feel free to share yours.
that's my backpack and my P.3 on a parking garage at the mall in guelph.

This is absolutely wonderful. That beautiful clear blue sky was the first thing that caught my eye. It really makes me want to be there looking up and waiting for the clounds to pass over. The angle you caught it at was another thing that caught my eye, it adds something nice I cannot explain to the whole of the image. Excellent shot.

first thing that caught my eye was the magnificent clear blue sky (reminds me of the nevada desert when we were heading 2 vegas) I love the colour conrast between the corn-yellow ground and the ocean blue sky.

This looks exactly as you say. A nice quiet place, found in the middle of the urban madness, to think. To stay. Maybe to sing softly a well-known song, maybe to sketch a new idea and then, after that special while, return to the noise, the smog, and the people. You captured that scent very well here, Tim, and that strange line in the sky makes the moment even more intense, like the spark that shines at the bottom of your brain when you have a new idea, or when you just decided that was the moment to press the shutter, and take this picture. Well done. You surely know how to look at certain things, in my humble opinion.

yeah man, this is one of your best photos to date.. the colours are vivid and blend perfectly.. i really like the minimalistic sense to it and the subject matter is very unique and well captured
