Such is the case for Xerneas and Yveltal. It seems that both Pokemon's roles were switched. Yveltal went from being the Destruction Pokemon to the Rejuvenation Pokemon. In the Marverra region, wherever Marverran Yveltal goes, things are restored to what they once were. Monuments that have been eroded are restored to former glory, trees can revert back to saplings, and Pokemon and humans can revert back to their younger selves. It is the only Pokemon capable of learning Rejuvenating Pulse.
