This shot is from one of our trips to Garden of the Gods last summer. Ben was jealous because I actually have a picture of a magpie (2, as a matter of fact). They're some of the prettiest birds we've seen with our own eyes.Related content

There are several magpies living in our neighbourhood, unfortunately they have to share it with a family of crows, and we frequently hear them getting into squawking matches on the rooftops.
