August 5, 2023 apparently.
Really satisfied with the inking of this one. I just finished inking it today as part of my efforts to dig up my sketches from last year and finish them. I also set myself up in my previous upload to share a number of these in chronological order to create a record of my progress in drawing curly hair .
Tsuki's hair is more curly, bouncy here than in her previous headshot , where it's drawn more wavy. I think this is about the level of curl I want for her design. It's a little funny I figured out that detail through a completely for fun piece of fanart, but what it is.

I wanted to do something easygoing and was overcome with the urge to assign Pokemon teams to my novel's cast.
Tsuki's lead/partner is Gothorita and the ace of the team is a Mega Absol lol.
The assignments were based on colors and other themes in the characters. So with Tsuki, her main color is white and her themes are the moon and night sky.
With Gothorita, being neither of those really, (though it apparently "uses starlight as a power source?" So, it totally fits, nevermind LOL,) was mostly based on vibes.
Some other Pokemon as potential teammates were Clefairy, Blissey, Togetic, Cinccino, Cetoddle, Minior, Hattenna, and of course, Cresselia. Blissey and Togetic as selections are especially rooted in Tsuki's steadfast cheerfulness, and Cetoddle, an adorable white whale, is representative of her persistent childlike nature and naivete.
This was fuuun. Maybe I'll draw everyone with their partners and teams sometime.
