Description

Rick had never been good with friends. Not only because he tended to kill people the second they stopped being useful to him, but also because the whole cannibalism thing made the majority of vampires steer clear of him.

Jack Vesci was an exception.

Even Rick himself honestly wasn’t sure why he never killed him. The fact that they were old childhood friends didn’t matter; he had no more attachment to him than any other of his past “friends”, who generally had a lifespan of about two or three weeks.

And yet, for whatever reason, he managed to stick around, having a strange way of being able to keep Rick’s full attention at all times.

Like all other vampires, Jack mysteriously vanished around the time of Rick’s capture and hasn’t been seen since.

YEEEEAH FINALLY INTRODUCING JACK- well sorta, I’ve been trying to figure out how to cram him into the My Pet Vampire comic since starting this thing and finally came to the conclusion that it’s not possible. Rick doesn’t consider him significant enough to talk about, and he will never make an appearance in MPV in person so basically there’s no reason whatsoever for his character to be brought up… OR IS THERE?!

So I’m just gonna drop this here, enjoy your foreshadowing.
