2 things,
shot guns dont need sights, the range they shoot at doesnt require any use of sights, sort of like pistols you can be accurate enough just pointing and shooting, because shotguns have a wide spray of lead.
and shotguns should have full stocks or no stocks, the wire stock woudnt be strong enough
i like your design though

lol i didnt think of the practical reasons of putting such things in, i just thought it looked bad ass
(well, actually if the shotgun was rigged with FRAG-12s then the sights would be suitable, but i dunno about the stocks)

It provides a failsafe method of insuring that the proper standoff distance from the hinge is achieved for breaching. it prevents unsafe over pressure from blowing the barrels which is occasionally encountered with standard barrels. The teeth on the end of the breacher prevent the weapon from sliding when planting the barrel for a breach.

they are breaching devices - they provide efficient venting of shotgun wad and gas and also supposedly maintains positions on hinge pins
