Gray said Lucy was "pretty damn cute", they flirted with each other TWICE, Gray looked at Lucy when Virgo changed Lucy's outfit in Tower of Heaven and he was BLUSHING, he stares at Lucy's underwear with a damn smoke in his head, they protected each other, they shared same opinion, ... ect. But well whatever they are just standing next to each other. Yeah. Look at the irony.

Funny, this whole time I thought relationships were consensual not one side just "swooning" over the other. Yeah it's true that flirting with each other is just one side. And yes it can be lust, but that's not bad at all because it was at the begining, they didn't know each other. Plus I've never said they were actually in love together I wanted to show that it's not a crack pairing and that Graylu has their moments, more than just standing next to each other.
Moreover, it's not called fanfic pairing that doesn't even exist. Maybe you want to say crack pairing ? Or a pairing that would never become canon ? Actually, I feel good with that

*facepalms* Look I don't want to have this argument on someone's deviation. I will try to keep it short.
It's the chemistry which counts. These two have shown similar reactions to multiple situations throughout the series, and they did it WHILE standing together. They are more levelheaded and down to earth as compared to most other ft members (apart from Gray's stripping habit) all while being the MCs. That's not all to it. There's still stuff they don't agree at. e.g. Lucy is always pinpointing Gray's stripping habit. Whenever he does something wrong, she points at it, but mostly he doesn't take his lesson (unless the situation is serious) Gray teases Lucy when he is in the mood, and Lucy shows interesting reactions on that. Sure, it doesn't happen too often but it DOES happen. As long as it happens, it isn't crack. It isn't canon either, but it's not crack either, please spare me from this talk.
And please, canon isn't everything. A pairing can be platonic but still be beautiful. I don't why people think only canon should be one's otp, that way of thinking so outdated.
