The host was a great novel. I actually read it, like, a year before the movie for it came out. It sucks that a lot of people are just watching the movie and not actually reading the book.

I love the host dearly; it's such a good read. It's also nice to not have it be in a series for once. I wish more people would read it and not judge is based off of twilight.

I know right! I hate how a lot of the people that are all "twilight sucks" only base their opinion on the movie. So the movie was bad - that's the directors fault. The book can be good even if the movie was a fail. Luckily the host was actually done justice. Great film, and even better novel.

Don't get me wrong, I like Twilight, it just bothers me that Bella has absolutely no issues with dating a guy who could kill her instantly with just one slip of self control. My favorite character was always Emmett.

Mine was a tie between Emmett (who couldn't love the big teddy bear!) and Seth. Rosalie was never good enough for Em, and Seth is just cool, being accepting and all.

Yeah, but I think Emmett and Rose work well together. Rose could never be with anybody else, and she really cares about him, I think. I love Jasper too, his backstory is my favorite part of any of the books.

Oh yeah! Valentine is way cooler but I support Laurent (by the way it's not "Laurence", it doesn't have "ce") way more than Valentine. So, partly disagreed.
