I FINALLY MADE SOME PROGRESS THIS WEEKENED (Even though it wasn't worth it, cause my art is so ugly. D: )Anyways, a new OC. He's name is Momo. >u> And he's a very very evil Prince, who is FAIL.
Yeah.. I'm so happy i did some work this weekend. I know it's ugly. I know it's ugly. ;_; Don't needa rub it in. XD OH and by the way. I KNOW ALL MY CHIBIS FACE THE SAME WAY. Ok, Do not tell me that. >u> I realize it. And I do that cause it's more easier for me to draw facing the right, doesn't mean I CAN'T draw people facing to the left. Or center. Seriously.

I'm not really emotional, I just take it seriously when people say useless meaningless stuff. For my age, I think I pretty much understand alot.

Hahaha if you hate it so much why don't you try something different? All I see are cutey chibis, and your frustration will show in you drawing, like that flat crown you did there. Go back to drawing for yourself instead of orders.

Mmm~ I would draw for myself, but, no inspiration really. I drew my OCs a number of times, and I created OCs to a point i'm satisfied. I don't really need more ocs. I rarely watch anime or read manga ( Believe it or not ).. So I can't draw fanart. >u>... Any ideas?

I really disapprove of using manga or anime as a reference. It is too basic,too flat, and gives you a wrong idea of anatomy. So its actually a good thing you don't watch it.
And I solely disapprove of fanart, unless you adapt the character to your style of drawing ("style" is the thing you need, since you are so unsatisfied with the current one). A good artist is not that who is a human copy-paste. At least not since the camera's where born.
Anyway, try to get inspiration from anywhere, something that makes you draw new things. It doesn't even have to be a picture. Maybe a story or a movie. An idea or object.
Breaking the routine, using different styles and proportions, makes you grow as an artist.
Try giving yourself room to experiment new things. And don't expect the first tries to be good, so no complaining or wining when doing so!

Well, I don't really consider myself as an artist cause I don't really express my emotions or my thoughts through my drawings.
Ok first of all. When I started out drawing, I was happy with my drawings. Course, i'm always happy with my drawings, I don't show them to the world if i'm not. But there comes those people who hate, those words they say, really makes me agree with them.
Just because I say my art is ugly, it doesn't mean i'm not trying my best to try better. I will eventually be satisfied with my art, I just have to be patient. I'm sorry if my opinions offend you, I don't say them to make you feel bad in whatever ways, I say them, because that's how I feel, and I wanna express it. Just cause i'm saying something bad, doesn't mean i'm NOT trying to be the best draw-er I can possibly be.
First of all, I don't understand why you disapprove using manga or anime. In my opinion, anatomy doesn't really matter, because honestly, if your going to draw anime or manga, the anatomy isn't perfect already. Only people who draw realism should be the ones who worry about anatomy. Well, first of all. Fanart is created by inspiration right? I mean, you can't possibly draw something without inspiration. So I don't get why fanart is a bad thing, if it inspires you.. Go for it.
If I don't have interest in manga or anime, how can I possibly be interested in a book or a movie?

Oh dear... you need to understand basic anatomy before tweaking with it, so you know how stuff works. I still second its too 2d for a starting artist to get a full grasp of how things should look on paper.
Why can't you be interested in a book and movie, I don't understand. But anyway...
Its up to you choosing what to draw. I wish you the best and um... gambate?
BTW if you want people telling you WHY your art is ugly, as you say it is, don't rely on DA where they only say sweet words. Constructive criticism is the best way to improve.

xD Course I know basic anatomy, i'm just saying, Art isn't all about knowing anatomy. You can paint a scene without knowing anatomy. You can express your feelings through a drawing without knowing anatomy.
I just am not. Is that a bad thing? o.o;;. Some people aren't interested in certain things. Thanks o.o;
I never said I expected sweet words. I was just explaining how my self esteem got really low. I really do take crits, but only when that person knows what he/she is talking about, can also draw her/himself, and doesn't say something I already know. I don't expect sweet words, I obviously respect what people say, I know i'm not perfect.
But when somebody is repeating something I already know, how the heck is that going to help you? I don't like people who can't draw themself giving me advise. I just don't. I know that probably sounds rude, but I don't really like people who say stuff, but can't do it themself.
Of course I know that criticism helps you improve, making mistakes will help you improve, that's quiet obvious.
