What happened to Apple Spice already having a boyfriend? what about Spun silk? whelp...Apple Spice and Spun silk weren't ever really official, they just danced around each other a lot, and Apple Spice quicklyΒ put a stop to that once he saw the way Spun silk treated Sapphire, he stepped in-between them and yelled right back at Spuny, and comforted Sapphire as well as he could, and basically stopped seeing whatever it was he saw in the other colt in the first place, stopped flirting, stopped walking with him, stopped addressing him really, stopped seeing him at all pretty much (because Spice's interest was mainly what was driving their relationship, since Spuny just fumbled and halfheartedly refused Apple Spice's advances) Spuny misses him, didn't realize that he really liked Apple Spice until he was gone, but by then Apple Spice had already moved on, and they don't reconcile

Apple Spice walked Sapphire home, Amber invited him in for coffee and or tea and cookies, after Amber started bringing Apple Spice over things (like cookies, other baked goods, or something's that Rarity made for him) and she'd talk to Apple Spice whenever he delivered apples or anything with his family (either Applejack, or Apple Bloom) sooner or later they started hanging out all the time, they fell in love eventually
