Description
Mahamotu
Ghost
The river diver pokemon
Ability/s: Grass Pelt, Swift Swim (h)
Stats: special defensive and attacker. Not very fast or defensive. Low special attack
Possible Moves: camouflage, waterfall, shadow sneak, shadow claw, vine whip
Limestone: by day, it latches onto rocks, resting and storing up energy. It absorbs nutrients from the water passing by, but if there are too many in the river, there's nothing left for anything else to absorb.
Greenstone: by night, it detaches itself from its rock and swims upriver. Once it arrives at a lake, it fights and mates with other Awairua before returning back to its river.
Gender Ratio: 50 50
Egg Group: monster
Height: 1.0m (long)
Body Shape: head and arms
Name Origin: awa (river) + algae, better name pending. I thought of a great one while out for a walk but forgot it, darn it.
Design: so I was looking at this mossy, grassy stuff stuck to a rock in a river, flowing back with the water, and came up with a pokemon from it. Also I had no idea how to shade this thing. Shiny is bright blue because I first conceived this idea while on the Blue Springs walk. Man, tourists have really ruined that place. You used to be able to swim there, but now because of all the tourists, especially the ones who don't read the "yo don't dump rubbish or pee in the river" signs, you can't.
