I first saw this guy in a dream a couple years back. Originally, in my dream, he had the same colouration as Galarian Meowth. I made him more purple to fit with the themes of its evolutions. In the original Fon dex, persian had an evolution called Leopatra, but I scrapped that one. Instead, I had the idea to do this instead. It's been a while since I drew cats. Remember that time I drew like 50 cats? Man, that was terrible. Anyway, Meowth.

Fun fact: according to Bulbapedia, Meowth's Cantonese name means "Meowing Freak"
