This is my submission to theVariation List 1 - Theme 18 - Rainbow
A cross between Acrostic and Concrete/Shape poetry.
With grateful thanks to for putting ideas in my head.
Not entirely happy with the final shape, my art package won't let me bend text like this so it was created in Word using Wordart then transferred to Paint.net. I found that if I extended certain lines it mucked up the text. Anyone else have this problem?

Thank you. I was talking about to David about the rainbow theme for the challenge and said it would work as an acrostic. He suggested putting the lines in the respective colours. Talking to him put more ideas in my head and after a struggle with my wordart software I created the shape of a rainbow, still as an acrostic.
If someone had told me this time last year I would be so creative, I would have laughed at them. I think David might just be my muse.

I completely understand. Some times we just find people we're in sync with and it helps to get your wheels turning. It's funny how it has to be the exact right person, though. I tried writing some poetry with a good friend on here and it just never felt quite right. It didn't flow, was too choppy. Then I met some one and him and I used to stay up all night writing and with him it was like we were completely on the same wavelength. It's a cool connection to have with some one.

It's funny really, even though there's 11 years between David and I, we are so alike in so many ways and share so many interests. When you find the right guy, it really is something special.
