Makes me remember when my dog was only a few weeks old, man, those were the days back then, he could barely keep up with me running, now he's always aheadΒ Β

Aww that's so cute, haha! How old is your dog now?
These two were always super fast as puppies, we even had to put a collar with a bell on Teddy (the white dog in the pic) just so we could hear her coming and we wouldn't accidently step on her! xD

Aww he sounds like a really sweet dog. You often see that chihuahuas attach themselves to one person mostly, so you were probably that person for him! How old was he when he died?
That's sounds painful. :S Did she make you trip or something? Hahaha, So you named her after Sollux and then you named fem!Sollux after her. XD
I don't know if it's different in your country, but over here pomeranians cost a lot more than chihuahuas. Like, we paid 450 euros for Teddy and 650 euros for Taci, while the cheapest pomeranian we saw was like 1200 euros. It's probably because chihuahuas are more populair.
Hahaha really? I hope my dogs aren't going to hump each other. Teddy is sterilised though, before she got her first heat, so I don't think she will, but Taci on the other hand... When she is old enough she will get sterilised too, but she's already humped a few toys, so yeah.. I never knew puppies did that, but apparently it's out of dominance or something. >_<
Those are cute names! When we still had to name Taci, we also considered naming her Bella. My mom really liked the name, but my sister didn't. xD

He was sweet, indeed, and also rather calm and friendly for a chihuahua, which is rare. Those tend to be really noisy and mean. Well, at least he was always very sweet and loving to me, he always wanted to cuddle and be petted.
And yeah, my cat was running out of the room and I chased her, basically jumping off the bed and landing on my leg the wrong way, causing it to break. It took a while to recover. It was actually my ankle, not my leg, but close enough.
Maybe it is different. In Canada, chihuahuhas were always super expensive, selling for at least 500 to 800 dollars. We got our Pomeranian for around 350 dollars, I think. My former chihuahuha sold for 250 dollars because he was already five years old when we bought him; he died at around 11 or 12 years of age. However, our miniature poodle was for free because my brother's girlfriend had an aunt who couldn't keep her anymore so they gave her to us. Otherwise, I know for sure that poodles are really expensive too. Especially since they're hypoallergenic and even people with dog allergies can keep them. I don't particularly care for neither of the dogs' names because I didn't choose them, my mom and sister did. I mean, except the poodle, her name was already Angel when we got her, but my mom calls her Angie. If they were my dogs, I'd name them after Homestuck characters like I did with my cat. The cat is MINE and ONLY MINE! I have to take care of her by myself. She's not allowed downstairs where my mom keeps the dogs and birds.

Was he friendly towards other people/strangers too? That's indeed rare for a chihuahua. Teddy is one of those typical chihuahuas, if she knows you it's okay, but if she doesn't she will keep barking and if they try to touch her she'll growl. Taci on the other hand likes everyone, but she's still a puppy. Hopefully it doesn't change though. But 11/12 is a rather young age for a chihuahua, how did your dog die?
That's so painful, but she didn't do it on purpose. I once broke my left ankle too when I was little, a bumpercar or whatever those things are called crashed into it. >_<
That is weird, maybe it's different indeed. I know there's a difference between dollars and euros, but I don't know which is worth more. Maybe it has something to do with that.
Even if the dogs aren't named after characters, I still like their names a lot. They're both so cute! But your cats name is definitely way cooler, and more rare too. x
Oh, does your mom have birds too? What kind?

Not really. But when it came to to the people in our house, he was overly friendly. Always wanting to be petted and cuddled, and just such an affectionate little dog. He did growl and bark at strangers, even bit people sometimes, but I suppose that can be expected of almost any dog. To be honest, I don't even know how old he had been when we first bought him. The owners had said he was around 5 years old at the time, and we had him for over half a decade so he had to have been somewhere around 11/12 when he died. I didn't really know that was considered young, but he died of some stomach condition where he couldn't eat. Poor thing had always loved food so much all his life.
Well, there's also a difference between Canadian dollars and American dollars, which I have no idea what that is either, so eh...
Hehe, yeah, they are cute, but they're not my dogs so I had no say in their names. I'm so happy I have a cat! And especially the fact that it's my cat. My mom has two birds, they're parakeets. One is blue, the other is green.

Okay, I take back what I said about Taci not being noisy. She's LOUD! Especially because she is so small, it makes her bark really high pitched and it's so annoying. She's way worse than Teddy now, since Teddy only barks at strangers and stuff, but Taci just starts barking out of nowhere.
Really? What about the poodle, doesn't she join in when the pomeranian starts barking randomly? Aw, your chihuahua sounds so sweet and it's so incredibly sad that he had to go through that before passing away. I feel really bad for him. Yeah that definitely explains why he ate really fast, you see that more often with dogs who lived with lots of other dogs. It's quite normal, otherwise all the other dogs would've eaten his food.
Np! <3 Aw, that's too bad, but I'm sure your cat is super adorable.

Our Jack Russell we had before never was this noisy, he always was a calm and friendly dog. But like I said, it's probably because of the breed. The older Taci gets, the worse she gets. Even when she hears a dog bark on tv, she'll start barking along. But their favourite thing is to bark when they're both on the balcony, at literally anything that moves. People, dogs, ducks, it doesn't matter.
You often see that chihuahua's are drawn to one specific person. So in your dogs case your were probably his favourite. Teddy does this too, she is never mean to my mother, but if she's grumpy all I have to do is look at her and she'll start growling. xD
Really? I didn't know that about Siamese Cats. But not all pets have to live up to their breeds stereotype. Seems like Solice is any exception.
