Meet Jennifer "Jenny" Lemmingworth. I had actually finished her design weeks ago, but it took me awhile to come up with a name and her background. I know, I know, her last name is odd, but when I was trying to think of a last name for her, the word just popped into my head and I liked the sound of it. Besides, many of the other monsters have somewhat unusual sounding surnames so I figured it'd be perfect in this universe. Now a little about her:

Jenny is the daughter of wealthy monster socialites, Mr. and Mrs. Lemmingworth. Her mother and father had hoped that their daughter would become a scarer like themselves so naturally, they decided Monsters University was the perfect campus for their daughter to sharpen her scaring abilities.

Unknown to them, for now, Jenny wasn't interested in being a scarer. She didn't consider herself to be "scary enough" for it. Besides, she was also very shy and somewhat easily spooked and knew she wouldn't be able to handle the danger and pressure of a scaring career. Still, she did enroll in some scaring classes to please her parents and was surprised to find she could be somewhat scary if she tried hard enough.

Despite all this, Jenny's real interest actually lies in learning and acquiring knowledge of the human world. Because of this, she also enrolled in the class for door technology to learn how to create the doors that provide access to the human world as well as classes in the study of humans and their world. Her parents haven't objected to this, as they figured it would enable her to be a better scarer.

While attending Monsters U, Jenny ran into the Oozma Kappa fraternity and was quick to befriend them as she was glad to meet some monsters who weren't so competitive like the ones of the ROR fraternity. She especially like hanging out with brothers Teri and Terri and Art. Unknowingly to Jenny, she eventually acquired the interest of Randall "Randy" Boggs, but he's kept this to himself so far.

Jenny hopes to one day be an expert in the study of the human world and its inhabitants and to eventually be courageous enough to journey into that strange world. She would eventually end up working in Monsters Inc....but that's another story.

Jenny can be described as shy, quiet, and easily startled at times(Kinda like a monster version of Fluttershy). She can also be a bit messy as evident by the "unkempt" look of her hair/fur. When she's frightened or angry, her hair and fur will poof out, making her look bigger and threatening(Like what a cat does). Her tail has a stinger which contains poison similar to the kind toxic glow urchins posses. It's not lethal, but like the urchins, it will cause the stung area to swell to an enormous size. Jenny can be a bit clumsy when handling her stinger, and many times has accidently stung unfortunate passerby, especially when they scare her by accident. Sometimes she'll wear a protective case around it so she won't accidently sting others.

Jenny's design was based on Dean Hardscrabble and her coloring was inspired by the PNK Sorority members(The cheerleader looking monsters). She was actually going to have four tentacle arms, but it proved to be a bit much for her design as well as a hindrance to draw. I plan to eventually do some sketches showing her when she finally joined Monsters Inc.
