Ever since Totally Kickin' started, I have been wanting to do something with this goth baby that we don't even have on our OC chart yet ^^'. But I am still super with this whole thing and I already love this cute little girly!
Lorelei is a young girl who loves to surround herself with good people and good times. As long as she can have fun with as many people she can at once, she can be a happy camper. But as soon as she is alone, she starts to reflect on all of the negative aspects that she knows that she possesses. At times like that, all things abnormal and morose are some of the only things that can give her comfort. Preferably, the only accessory that she feels like she wants to wear is a smile to make sure people don't worry about her.
As for the doll...I either made Annabelle actually cute or made Amberly terrifying, either way, I am sorry XD

She is kawaii cookie and I loved drawing her gothic little face! And I see what you mean, the pattern might be too much. But I also wanted to get an old Victorian feel. But either way, thank you for your help ^^

You do have a fondness for more darker and purple colors. But that's a great palette for all these surreal or magical vibes after all!
She sits in a really neat pose! Especially the positions of her legs! Was it hard to draw her like that?
How you draw characters in pieces like this has something special in general, I can't really name what it is!
I also love that asymmetrical haircut!
There's also that subtle undertone subtle undertone with the words scattered about that's as poetic as it is sad!

Yes I do XD. I can't help but love darker color palettes since they have a gothic feel to them. I thought it really fitted here.
And the pose was based of a reference I used, so it wasn't as hard to get the legs in the right position. But it was still very fun ^^
I honestly love her hair so much. It kinda reminds of Melanie Martinez and it fits her childish personality.

I find her personality to be quite relatable, I adore her cute design, and she's super unique/different from the cast!
