so i was supposed to upload this yesterday but i didn't finish in time, so i finished it today!
The story behind this:
So on facebook, the fencing team seems to be obsessing over the ol' gameboy, and pokemon! I thought of myself in the past and was all "I have to draw this!" & thus, we have this drawing :} i heart inspiration!
I have everything in this picture (object wise) The hello kitty clock, the laptop, the tablet, the piggy >u<, the purple gameboy, and the yellow version. hehehe. i WISH i had those socks! Myuu!
Artistic Feedback: ouch this is messy. I think it's because I accidentally saved the picture as a .PNG/flattened image yesterday, and found this all put together when I opened it up today :I So i had to shade in multiply (under the drawing), i had like 30 layers flattened! ;n; oh well, i think this is cute.

I never laid hands on the original Gameboy, but I had a pearl-pink SP in grade 6 and 7... until someone jacked it along with Pokemanz Emerald. >__>
Artistically now. For something that sounds like it was three-quarters-assed done (like half-assed, but a little more than half-assed?) the anatomy is really good--waist is fine and so are shoulders (two things you usually mess up) and the hands and feet and knees are REEEEAAALLY good. C: Clara is pretty too~
That white tablet looks like it could get dirty really easily... like a toilet. Idk. But I like my smexy black one, even if it's pen-less atm. =A=
And maybe I'm just tired but I notice no messiness. xD; So it's all good!

On a side note, I NEVER owned a Game Boy. I have, however, owned one of those bulky first generation Nintendo DS units which had the cartridge port for Game Boy Advanced software. As I remember, it cost $150 when it first came out in 2003(?) and it came with a demo of the then-long-delayed Metroid game for the thing. The only games worth buying for the thing at the time was Super Mario 64 and Feel The Magic: XY/XX (don't ask).

My first gameboy got jacked in school because Teach left it RIGHT ON her desk.
No one wants to kidnap me, trust, I'm a lunatic... but that day made me realize how kickass Kirby Tilt & Tumble was.

ahh... I was such a GameBoy deprived kid... I had to beg my cousins to let me borrow theirs when I went round their house. That was the main reason I liked going round their house 8D
