Description
The Ahuizotl is a large predatory water-opossum that can mainly be found in secluded waterways, lakes and marshes and builds large dens close to the water where it rests and raises its young. They prey on fish, amphibians and waterbirds and will attack humans during the mating season. The tail is flattened and used for swimming.
