Skeletons are just as closely linked with Halloween as ghosts are, and are known for being the most inherently funny monster of them all - there are so many jokes you can make about them! Here's some of my favorites!

Why didn't the skeleton go to the party? He had no body to go with!

What do you call a sleeping skeleton? Lazy bones!

What's the worst skeleton joke of them all? Undertale!

So skeletons are the only parts of our bodies that get left behind after the flesh and organs have rotted away, so seeing one suddenly jump back into life after being deathly still for so long can be quite daunting, even if they often break into dancing wildly. Other than that, though, I'm not sure what it is that makes them so scary - every monster has a 'thing' that they do, a quirk that causes us to fear them. Ghosts haunt people, zombies eat brains, vampires drink blood, werewolves bite people, skeletons... I'm not sure what they do. Though if this picture (upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia… ) is anything to go by, they instigate mass riots and lay waste whole cities. So next time there's a riot in your area and groups of disaffected people are looting stores and throwing molotovs, just remember that it might be a skeleton or several skeletons behind it all...
