Description A clamor in the gloom, the whisper of fallen branches squeaking underneath it's hooves. It's dark, but somehow I can see it clearly. Suddenly I'm eye to eye with a foul, skeletal creature that lurks in the darkness. It's single eye staring at me with an immobilizing force. Another clamor rages from its chasmal mouth as it gains it bearings. First it looks like it gazes beyond me, barely acknowledges my existence. But then the beast rushes forward, its four legs gracelessly carrying its bovine, demonic body with a terorrizing energy. My eyes don't linger long, my body turning to run in the opposite direction. Thunder-like stomps shaking the earth beneath my feet make me hasten my strides. I look back, seeing it's shadowy tail sling behind it as it rushes after me, making cracking soungs like that of a whip with each of it's swift movements. Fleeing seems futile by now, but I keep going. I can almost feel it's pointy red horns pierce my back. Yet once our bodies supposedly collide, it's spirit dashes right through me. Like a ghost, ethereal. As the menacing creature passes through me, I hear a thousand deafening screams. It brings me to my knees, my hands clasping my head. Cold sweat drips down my temples and I gasp for air while I watch the monster turn to face me again. One look and I can tell it's duty is done. So it leaves me there, walking off into the pitch-black forest. I still feel it's presence long after it's gone, lurking in the shadows. It chills me to the bone, yet all I can do is wonder.

This creature art doll is based on a nightmare I had a long, long time ago. I still remember it until this day. I don't know if it had a hidden meaning for me at the time. There were so many feelings involved. Feeling lost, trapped, dread. Feeling the need to escape, but then a sense of relief near the end too. Felt the need to recreate the creature as an art doll and then upload it as my entry for the #FallHorrorChallenge!
