Happy Valentines Day, all you happy couples and not-so happy bachelors and bachelorettes out there! Since I haven't updated for a bit, I thought I'd swing by and give you all something to oggle at to keep yourself occupied on this glorious/depressing day. This piece has actually been sitting in my sketchbook for nearly six months and kept on getting pushed back due to school . . . until now! Recently, we were asked to bring in some of our old artwork for a class, and this inspired me to get up off my sorry ass and finish this piece!

So, for like the third time, we go!

As some of you may remember, I did a contest of sorts back on my Fanfiction account for a story of mine - a Ben 10/Monster High crossover - where I asked my readers to submit Nemetrix predators of their own creations with the winners being featured in the story and posted on my account once I had drawn them. I decided to do this again for another story of mine - the sequel, a Ben 10/Ever After High crossover, actually - only this time with villains since there was a considerable lack of bad guys for Ben to beat up inbetween major arcs.

This one was sent in by one of my most loyal readers, maverickmoxey2000, and has consequently been redesign several times due to the fact that I was never satisfied with her design . . . until now, that is!

Gender: Female

Age: Unknown (physically between late 20s and early 30s)

Species: Human Mage/Succubus hybrid

Appearance: In her first appearance, Vanity is portrayed as a highly attractive seductress with caramel skin, long black hair with red highlights pulled into a ponytail that reached down to her waist, and bright amber eyes; she also has soft, magenta lips. She has an Amazonian-like physique with a heart-shaped butt and a pair of enormous, DD-cup breasts. In addition, she has a pair of large, bat-like wings and a demon tail. Vanity wore an outfit similar to that of a Japanese schoolgirl, complete with a white dress shirt, a red plaid skirt, a pair of white stockings, and a set of black Mary Jane shoes.

In her second appearance, Vanity has shed her more human disguise and taken on a more demonic appearance. Her skin and eyes have retained the same color, but the later has taken on a more animalistic look - similar to that of a snake or a bird of prey - and her teeth have become sharper in appearance, including a pair of fangs that curve over her lips. Her long hair has been replaced with a mane of black and red flames pulled back into something that vaguely resembles a ponytail and her ears have become more pointed in appearance, similar to that of a demon. Vanity now sports long, red claws and a pair of yellowed horns with blackened tips that also function similarly to eyebrows and has retained her large, bat-like wings and demon tail. Her attire is much skimpier than before and consists of a black, shadow-like material with lots of curves not unlike Charmcaster 's design; her 'clothing' seems to be organic in substance, as it covers her body more like a second skin.

Personality: Vanity is generally portrayed as a femme fatale who will do whatever it takes to gain whatever she wants. She sin't above flirting with her targets or using her highly attractive body as a means of seducing them and puts herself above all others, coming across as incredibly narcissistic and arrogant. Vanity tends to be very impulsive and cocky, which leads to her downfall more often than not. She also is an exceedingly good actor and can effortlessly imitate the mannerisms and behaviors of those who she mimics to the point where most people would not be able to tell the difference. Vanity is absolutely power hungry and is not above using deception or trickery to get what she wants, no matter who she hurts in the process so long as she gets it.

History/Biography: Much of Vanity's life prior to her first appearance is unknown. At one point, her mother - a succubus - seduced a mage and gave birth to her after seemingly devouring her father a short time later. Much of Vanity's childhood was spent being taught by her mother that beauty and power were the two most important things in life other than one's self and that she should never take them for granted, no matter how small they were. Vanity took this to heart and at some point in her life became the student of several magicians and warriors throughout the world of Ever After.

In her first appearance, Vanity took on the appearance of Snow White and attempted to seduce Ben for information about the Omnitrix. After he became suspicious of her, she revealed her true form and intentions and attempted to take the Omnitrix by force, resulting in a battle that eventually turned in her favor. Before she could kill Ben and claim her prize however, she was attacked by Clawdeen Wolf , Venus McFlytrap , Skelita Calaveras , and Jane Boolittle , which quickly turned the tables in theirs and Ben's favor. Vanity then attempted to escape, but was quickly captured and subdued before she was blasted off into the sky, swearing her revenge.

Powers/Abilities: Due to her succubus heritage, Vanity naturally radiates an aura of sexual attraction around her, inducing pleasure and desire while subtly lifting inhibitions of those that affected. Victims remain fully themselves, but can't help but long for her favor and attention and do whatever it takes to do so, which allows Vanity to easily give them orders. Furthermore, those that are under her control - usually men and homosexual women - will refuse to harm her in anyway, unless as a last resort, treating her like an irreplaceable treasure too precious to be lost.

Vanity is capable of Doppelgänger Morphing, a form of shape-shifting that allows her to take on the appearance of anyone that she has seen at least once, such as when she disguised herself as Snow White in an attempt to fool Ben. Other uses of this ability let her transform into an individual's greatest sexual desire and make modification as needed, such as increasing/decrease her height or the size of a specific feature.

Vanity can read the thoughts of individuals to an extent in order to learn information.

Vanity's wings grant her powered flight and are strong enough to let her swoop down and pick up objects as heavy as a person with ease; in addition, their size and durability allow her to use them as shields.

Like Diamondhead, she is capable of generating blood red crystals on various points of her body, usually as a weapon or a form of armor.

Like Heatblast, she has the ability to generate and manipulate intense heat and fire from his body. She can form fire into any shape that she likes, commonly fireballs. She can also enhance the fire in his hands for flaming punches and breathe fire.

Vanity has the power of necromancy, allowing her to raise a limited number of undead soldiers and warriors to come to her aid. These beings usually take the form of skeletal warriors of rotting zombies and are typically brainless in all manner of the word, though they do seem to be capable of basic thinking. This allows them to take and follow any order they are given without ever surrendering or giving up should a random body part fall off.

She can create energy weapons by siphoning off naturally-occurring magic in the air and solidifying it into a form of her choosing from practically nothing. Depending on the situation, this grants her a variety of abilities and be very effective in both offensive and defensive combat, though she typically chooses to use offensive weapons such as spears and swords.

More so out of necessity, Vanity is incredibly cunning and crafty when the situation requires it and is a talented manipulator.

In addition, she has sharp claws and fangs.

Vanity possesses a small healing factor that allows her to regenerate mind wounds and injuries, such as cuts or broken bones.

Weakness: Above all others, Vanity is a megalomaniac and her arrogance and habit of underestimating her opponents are usually what lead to her downfall. In addition, she has a temper and easily angered when things don't go her way. Furthermore, beauty is always a priority for her and while she is willing to make exceptions, she has been known to break away from a battle and retreat if her appearance has taken too much of a toll.

Women and homosexual men are completely immune to her sexual aura, as those that are affected are attracted to her true form and not whatever form she takes, regardless of the gender of appearance. Asexual beings, having no gender to begin with, are also completely immune.

She needs constant feeding in order to maintain her strength, requiring her to seduce and have sexual intercourse with victims in order to regain her strength. Depending on how depleted of energy she is, this can be anywhere between an hour to several weeks.

Vanity is incapable of reading the minds of beings or creatures that don't possess a brain or are inorganic in nature, such as Florauna and Biosovortians.

Beings or creatures that feed off of or are capable of absorbing energy, such as Conductoids, can render her energy weapons completely useless.

Etymology: Her name means "excessive pride in one's appearance, qualities, abilities, achievements, etc." and is also considered an example of one of the Seven Deadly Sins, specifically pride.

Trivia: Vanity is a human/succubus hybrid, which is why her powers and abilities - while of a considerably broader range than most of her kind - are typically weaker than that of a pure blood. Succubi in general are Lilin-demons in female form, or supernatural entities in folklore that appear in dreams and takes the form of a woman in order to seduce men, usually through sexual activity; the male version are referred to as incubus.

Vanity's went through three redesigns before settling on her current one.

Vanity's current overall appearance is similar to that of Evelynn from League of Legends, particularly unused concept art that was created for her own rework.

Despite the mysterious disappearance of her father, she still has a good relationship with her mother.

During times of recuperation, Vanity heads off towards the northern parts of Ever After in order to take advantage of the isolated and nearly extinct pockets of barbarians that remain, as most of the tribes are dominated by men that are more than happy to show her a good time.
