I noticed most snakes in the Lion king franchise are mostly the bad guys and aren't very friendly. So I gave Simba adolescent python friend while he was living in the jungle. His name is Jayron which means to sing out. So I sketched something quick as a rough draft of his design, he's kinda mixed with the different snakes seen in Lion King books that Timon, Simba, and Pumbaa have met. Jayron is a pretty nice snake, even though he enjoys playfully teasing others for fun. He also enjoys singing, relaxing, swimming, hugs, and being around Simba. I'll probably draw out his full design and how he meets Simba later.Related content

Snakes tend to get a bad rap in a lot of things. But on the plus side, they kill (and eat) the rodents that eat our crops. So I guess there's some redeeming qualities.
