Nice frame you put in for Super Water Buffalo.
Yes, my friend and I reviewed that segment on Toonzone, saying how creative it was how Pith and Obediah went into the lemonade business after being put aside by Super Water Buffalo, how Super Water Buffalo had his criminal plan and catchy theme song, and how perfectly staged Pith and SWB's showdown was displayed. It may have been predictable, but it was a good short.
However, I know Bill told me it was only Doris' story role to set SWB up as a threat to Pith, but I wish she also took interest in their lemonade biz and how she discovered SWB's true intentions to Possum City. Also, I hated how the citizens treated Pith and Obediah like dirt in favor of SWB. What about you?

I like how the show had a generally goofy tone but stuff like how quick the citizens turned on them showed it was also set against a pretty grim backdrop of a terrible culture. It's almost like Pith and Obedia live this wacky adventure so they don't think about the unpleasant and unsolvable realities of life.

Yes, like one example of an unsolvable reality of life is how girlfriends treat the same person in two different ways; it upsets me greatly that Doris abandoned poor Peter at the Gilded Turnip, just so she could be with Pith Possum at the end of "Haunt of the Night of Blacker Darkness". But, what I loved about it was that Obediah was there on the phone to support Peter, before he picked him up to fight crime at the Possum City Museum. Don't you wish that potential was there throughout the show in general. I know I do.
